The Science
The Science is the auditory collaborative project of Martin Slept /Soulslept, minus99/, DataTransporter /Subtierra/ and Vi Ga /Trish/.
Slept's surgically crafted sound textures are complemented with broken glitched beats, just to collide with the deep bag of timbres that both DataTransporter and Vi Ga care to provide every time they're near a microphone. The trio's music has already seen attempts to be labeled with non-existing sub-genres in the likes of “Future beats” and “Dub-noir trip hop” but it's as if their sound defies categorization. However, the trained observer might notice the hint of influence from artists such as Amon Tobin, FKA Twigs, Mike Patton, Lorn, Bjork and Massive Attack, to name a few.
Their focus for the last two years has been live performance and thus far, they've made their way through to the listeners by providing a unique experience every time they play on stage, due to the flexibility of their live sets. Their debut album has been in the works from the very beginning and will see the light of day by the end of 2015.
