Sound improvisation with electricity is a three-day workshop presenting basic notions in the fields of sound art, electronics and sound improvisations. The participants will build a series of electronic circuits that manipulate the fed electricity and interpret it as sound harmonies and disharmonies. By using raw electricity as the main conceptual material, the circuits combine a series of basic electronic elements and sensors that transform the applied electric charge into a stream of sound potential. Furthermore, the workshop will present the debut project of the ephemeral art collective ELECTRICITY MATTERS, initiated by Nataliya Petkova, and uniting five Bulgarian artists.
The workshop was made possible thanks to the Association of Cultural managers in Bulgaria.
