With an emphasis on two prominent strategies of nature, adaption and symbiosis, we will try to convert these approaches into collective artistic language and attitude. Within the workshop we try to investigate in the idea of site-specific light sculptures and non-intrusive, architectural interventions called the LightParasites. Used laboratory equipment, magnifying glasses and mirrors, own light sources and the light sources existing on-site are temporarily transformed into individual projection devices creating a rhizomatic, multi-layer imagery made of information that is hidden in the diffuse cones of light, like glow wires, reflectors and other parts of its internal construction. The workshop results will be combined to a collective installation and presented as exhibition.

Workshop requirements: Bring your own lamps and light sources like any bedside lamp, desk lamp or similar.
